BENGIO HIGH SAFETY TECH is an Italian company that put passion in everyday work since 2000 to find innovative solutions for the safety of karting drivers.
Everything started 10 years ago when the DR Racing Team driver Alessandro Begnozzi, after an ordinary race accidents suffers serious chest injuries which forced him to quit his promising career in karting when he was just 15 years old.
The father of Alessandro, Stefano Begnozzi, noticed that the standard rib protections were not good enough to grant his son safety and comfort, so he decided to design and develop an innovative rib protector.
That's how their flagship product was born, BUMPER, the first rigid shell rib protector, certainly the most imitated.
